DAVIS MICHAEL HARTSELL

Davis was a true legend at the University of Alabama. After bravely surviving a rare form of childhood cancer at the age of 4, Davis faced another major challenge when he underwent a double lung transplant at the age of 16. Despite these challenges, Davis embraced life with a contagious spirit and was adored by everyone who knew him.

Davis valued his education and he loved the University of Alabama. In his memory, a scholarship has been established to support students facing serious medical challenges, just as Davis did. His infectious spirit, unwavering courage, and limitless positivity touched the lives of everyone who knew him. It is the hope of his family and friends that his legacy of perseverance and joy will continue to inspire excellence in learning and provide much-needed support to those navigating difficult circumstances.
